Privacy policy

Pushback Daily is a puzzle game made by Spatula Labs LLC, an Illinois limited liability company ("we"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and how to delete it. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it to target ads at you.
What we collect
- An anonymous player ID and a game-generated name (like "Wingtip Comet"). We create these the first time you open the game. No sign-up is needed to play.
- Your daily results: the date, your pushback time, total passenger wait, stars, and the moves you made, which we replay to check the score is genuine.
- How you use the game: simple events such as opening the game, starting, finishing or leaving a flight, sharing a result, which screens you open, how you answer coach tips, and script errors, along with your device type (iPhone, Android or web) and the game version. If you arrived from a shared result, we note that too. These are tied only to your anonymous player ID and help us see whether flights are too hard or too easy and whether players come back.
- Crew boards you start or join: the board name, its invite code, and who is on it.
- If you sign in with Apple or Google: the account identifier they give us, and your email address if you choose to share it. We use these only to keep your progress across devices. (Sign-in is coming soon.)
- Technical data: like every website, our host (Cloudflare) processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the game and protect it from abuse. During testing, we also log how test flights are played (taps and results) with a random device ID to improve the game.
What we don't collect
We don't collect your location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers. Usage events go only to our own server; we don't use third-party analytics trackers, and we don't track you across other companies' apps or websites. We will update this policy before adding in-app purchases or ads.
How we use it
To run the game: show leaderboards and crew boards, keep your streak, check results are fair, and fix problems. That's all.
Who can see it
Your player name, stars and pushback time are visible to other players on the daily leaderboard and to members of your crew boards. Nothing else about you is shown to other players.
Where it's stored and for how long
Game data is stored with Cloudflare in the United States and other countries where Cloudflare operates. We keep it until you delete it; deleting your data removes your usage events as well. Test-flight logs are deleted when testing ends.
Deleting your data
You can delete everything at any time in the app, or through our website. See Delete your data.
Children
Pushback Daily is a general-audience game and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children; the game doesn't ask for any to play.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and tell you in the game for any important change.
